Yesterday was a great day for me, I finally got my bike out of the shop and took her for a ride. I think we both needed it. Riding in snow that's at least a foot deep was something new for me, but it wasn't that hard to adapt, I just couldn't dump the clutch on take off or climb even the smallest hills. But being able to power-slide like I could was something else, I almost laughed out loud in my helmet when I first started drifting. Here are the pics.

Looks like you got into some of the packy stuff, all the snow I was in was hard and crisp. You got a bit of mud on your bike, I wonder how that got there

Yep, thought so. I lost it 3 times and got stuck twice. One of those times I fell right in front of my Mom's civic, plastered the front end in mud as the back of the bike swung around. I was lucky I didn't slam into it, it was a bit of a noob move on my part. Oh well, a little mud never hurt anything.

^ I hate when that happens. Went for a little ride after a pretty bad storm and little did i know that i was going to get muddy up to my waist! Little to say when i got home"What part about little ride was that?"-mom. Back to the topic, nice pics and wanting to see more from the 4stroken community. I need to get out and go ride!

I would be happy just getting out. Tonight they are talking Snow down to 1000 feet. So none at my house, but where I ride will get hit. Was actually kinda thinkin about trying to get out on Friday.. Looks like now I will more than likely be doing yard work.

Thanks, the snow is all gone now and I'm planning on riding this weekend at my Grandpa's house with a bunch of guys. My Dad plans on putting his XR back together tonight so he can join us, should be a good time. One of my friends is building a moto course beside his house, he's got 5 acres to use and plans on using all of it. I can hardly wait to try it out.
