Baja makes a 250 dirt bike? I checked their website again and the biggest one is their ssr200.

yea they do, they have it at pep boys, they have not updated the website lately because they have also made 2 more street bikes, a 125 and 200 or 250 that's more sporty.

Hey, I saw that 250 in the pep boys flyer. Man does it look nice! It makes me regret getting the 90cc 2 years ago and wait to get this one, but then I would not have had a bike to ride for 2 years. I searched all over the web to find some pics of it, but came up empty handed :( I'll just have to keep staring at the flyer. You just better hope that it performs as good as it looks, but for just over grand you can't hardly go wrong. i shall just wait till I am old enough to get a job, which isn't that long :) If you get It, right a review Or else. jk. good luck on whatever you decide.

Those bikes are garbage if you don't break it in. Someone I know who I see practically everyday sells them and he stopped selling them cause people don't treat em right. Giovanni Bikes are the exact same, but they only sell them in Canada. only difference is, this company puts their name on the motor and they stitch their name on the seat. Me and Steve, the guy I know, are rebuilding one of these crap bikes. They guy who bought it drove it with no oil. (Steve took out the packing oil and replaced it with some Castrol 10w-30 for up here. They guy who purchased it wanted to give it an oil change himself a week later, so he took the oil out but never put any oil in.) seized up after 10-15 min. Now he's trying to sue Steve for the owners dumbass thing to do. The GIO bikes are the exact same though. GIO also has different versions (the other one has bigger wheels) and probably more colors. We have seen another bike 3 days old go into the swamp and the owner took it back and the block was filled with water and oil. The product that came out looked like coffee with a lot of whitener in it lol. Anyways, these bikes are pretty good, but only if you break it in properly. When I bought my Baja DR125, I bought it in a crate and made it myself to make sure there were no screw-ups. And now my bike works great. All you have to do to break in a Chinese bike is change the factory oil, change the oil after 5 hrs of use, then 10-20 hrs, then 20-40 hrs, so on. And clean the air filter every 10-20 hours. And the last thing is not to make it go too fast the first week.

I have a Giovanni 250cc dirt bike and I really like it.The only problem real problem with these bike are the suspension, front(the fake Showa forks) mostly. I bought a used 1999 yz front fork set for $69 and modded them to the Giovanni. Well that fixed it up the ride is very good now. Another thing with these bikes is the pathetic air filter witch is easily remedied with a uni or no-toil pod filter. They are a little loud so I put a rmf silencer on it, quiet a bit quieter now. Like spud18 said break it in properly and these bikes will probably treat you right.

Baja dirt bikes are great bikes. The plastic comes loose but just put them back on.
