Have you contacted the dealer where you purchased it?

The timing chain on the RMZ is just like a new drive chain, meaning it will stretch. The RMZ does not have an automatic timing chain adjuster. The good thing is that it is any easy thing to do. You should check it as often as you change the oil, it will save you big trouble down the road. I believe the latest issue of TransWorld Motocross magazine has a how to article on this very thing.

It should not be a problem. Definitely take it to the dealer and throw a fit... Oh! and don't forget to change the oil every 3 hours.

On your timing chain, this is a very critical that it is installed correctly. if you do not install it correctly or it comes to loose and jumps chain you could very easily bend a valve or worse. I strongly suggest that you get it right the first time, if you do not know how then find out before you cost yourself thousands of dollars for an engine rebuild, any questions contact me and i will help.
