Toolz Racing is one of those not so well known companies that actually produce some very useful and high quality products for the motorcycle industry. With their high quality workmanship and extensive history in metal fabrication and welding, we are hopeful that Toolz Racing will quickly gain recognition in the motocross and off-road motorcycle industries!
Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand
The Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand quickly became a hit with us and is now one of our "must have" items when changing motorcycle tires or flat tubes. This product really does ease the chore (and your back) of changing motorcycle tires and flats!
The Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand is made of mild steel then powdered coated black for a long lasting durable finish. The base bolts to the upright post at the bottom with a large bolt so knockdown is quick and easy. A large wing-shaped nut holds the wheel down so it doesn't flop around while trying to pry a tire off the rim. The Tire Changing Stand is surprisingly light and transporting is not be a problem whether the stand is together or apart. The Tire Changing Stand puts a wheel up about 30 inches (about waist high) so you don't have to lean over and work on the wheel.
Even though you are able to stand on the base of the Tire Changing Stand to steady it, we would have liked to seen the base be a little wider so you wouldn't have to reach your leg under the wheel that is mounted to the stand. This is especially the case with a 21-inch front wheel. One remedy might be to bolt the Tire Changing Stand to a piece of plywood but this may take away from its portability. Although not tested, another downside might be its inability to support a wheel solidly enough to mount a solid foam tube, like the Michelin Bib Mousse. We don't use them so it was not a problem for us.
The Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand retails for $119.95 and is available directly from Toolz Racing or check with your local retailer.
4Strokes.com Rating - 1 2 3 4½ 5
As we mentioned, the Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand is one item that we will not be without when changing a flat tire or mounting new tread and it takes "back breaking" out of the chore of changing tires and tubes! If the Toolz Racing Tire Changing Stand had a little wider base, we would have given it a solid 5! However we rated it a still favorable 4½.
Toolz Racing Bike Stand
The Toolz Racing Bike Stand is made entirely of stainless steel square tubing with a brushed finish. The 16-inch tall stand is lightweight and sits nicely on uneven surfaces because of the open base. If you have an exposed oil drain plug (not covered by a skid plate) there is also good chance you might be able to access it through the open top.
The Toolz Racing Bike Stand is an absolute "no frills" stand. It does not have a shelf on which to put your tools. It does not have side panels on which to put cool stickers. Nor does it have a rubber pad on which to set your bike.
The retail price of the Toolz Racing Bike Stand is $69.95. They also produce a smaller version that retails for $59.95. They are available directly from Toolz Racing or check with your local retailer.

Being fans of big-bore thumpers, we have always been partial to heavy-duty lift-stands and not ordinary stands. If we were to use a stand, we would opt for one with at least a rubber pad to grip and protect the underside of the bike. Although very high quality, the Toolz Racing Bike Stand is probably better suited to small lightweight two-stroke bikes. We gave it a rating of 2½.
Toolz Racing Spring Puller
If your bike uses springs on the exhaust system or elsewhere, the Toolz Racing Spring Puller is a must for your toolbox! As with all Toolz Racing products, the Spring Puller is high quality and made of the finest materials. The handle is thick mild steel tubing with a tempered spring steel hook and shank. The whole thing is cadmium plated to resist corrosion. The Toolz Racing Spring Puller works great! The handle is large enough to actually hold and the tool is stronger than most springs.
The retail price of the Toolz Racing Spring Puller is $14.95. It is available directly from Toolz Racing or check with your local retailer.
4Strokes.com Rating - 1 2 3 4 5
The Toolz Racing Spring Puller is high quality and very functional! The only fault we could find was with its price - we feel it's a little steep. However, we still gave the Spring Puller a rating of 4.
Toolz Racing Bead Breaker
The Toolz Racing Bead Breaker can be a handy tool, especially for those finicky tires that just don't want to break loose. Like the Spring Puller above, the Bead Breaker is all steel and cadmium plated to resist corrosion. Again, another "must have" tool for the rider that wants a complete arsenal of tire tools. We feel you can never have enough tools to help you get the job done right! The only downside we could find with the Toolz Racing Bead Breaker was that it marred up the rim slightly.
Directions: Toolz Racing recommends spraying contact cleaner in between the rim and tire to help loosen the tire. Then, insert the Bead Breaker in between the tire and rim and twist.
The retail price of the Toolz Racing Bead Breaker is $19.95. It is available directly from Toolz Racing or check with your local retailer.

The Toolz Racing Bead Breaker is also a high quality and functional tool that would complete the tire changing tool arsenal of anyone's toolbox! We gave the Bead Breaker a rating of 4.
