Maybe you guys dont have this problem, but back in rainy old Blighty, we have Green Lanes which are often pure bog or liquid clay, several feet deep (with rockslabs hidden underneath - eeek!). So, you are constantly getting mud splashed onto your goggles, and if you wipe them with your muddy gloves, then you still cant see where you are going. This is what we do;
- Before you go out, spray the outside of your goggles with a bit of Mr Sheen furniture polish and buff until no longer smeary, but nice and clear. The mud will dry and fall off within moments of being splatted.
- Get a tennis ball and cut it in half. Drill 3 or 4 holes in the 'bottom'. Use a cable-tie, or 'zip-tie' as I believe you guys call them, to fasten the half a tennis ball through 2 of the holes to the bars of your bike. Now use the ball to store a piece of clean, soft rag. It's handy for wiping your goggles clean as you are moving along, as it stays clean (unlike your gloves). Any water will drain through the littles holes that you made.

Good tip, I use dryer sheets on my goggles and it keeps dust from sticking.

I just tuck a rag in the front of my pants. It usually stays clean. Roll-offs are another option.
To avoid fogging, take a bar of soap (preferably clean, non-scented) and rub on the inside of the lens then buff until clear again. Works pretty well.

when i scuba dive, i usually use saliva on the inside of my mask to prevent fogging, and it works great. that might work for riding goggles too?
i love the furniture polish thing, im going to try that this winter

If you ride a KTM, there is a nice little space behind the radiators that is perfect for keeping a clean rag. Keeps it warm too!

Another little tip I learned at a race I was at last year. It was muddy so a lot of the guys were duct taping an old goggle lens to the visor of their helmet, that way they could put their head down and still see without getting mud in their eyes or goggles. I think a clear 2 liter pop bottle would work just fine.
