| 4Strokes.com Honda Technical: Inexpensive XR650L Dual Sport Windshield by Jlutty650L | |

I found a Kawasaki KLR windshield for $25 on an auction site recently, so I bought it and modified it to fit my XR650L. The windshield required some spacers on the two outside bolts to make up for the difference in the bend of the windshield in relation to the number plate/headlight. With the windshield installed, it now takes strong wind off of my sternum. I feel a little wind all over, as apposed to just my upper middle chest. The windshield has a nice little flip-up at the top to deflect the wind off your face too. It is a bit wider than the front number plate/headlight, but I rounded off the lower protruding corners.
