Still the best XR that Honda ever made and yours looks like it just come off the factory floor!!! Hope you intend to ride it cause it would be a shame not to see it on the trails where it belongs roosting all the new bikes out there!!!4/15/2012 8:50:39 PM by Nurettin
That is one sweet XR350R!5/13/2012 4:50:47 AM by Joseph G
I am in the middle of a frame off restoration of the same bike using all OEM parts. I bought an original owner, low-mile, maintained bike that hasn't been ridden in 3-4 years. It was in a heated garage. I painted the frame. I am polishing all of the OEM plastic with new OEM decals, every one is new. I am using the OEM wheels but black rims and hubs with stainless steel spokes, everything new. I bought Michelin T63 tires and I'm painting the raised letters on the tires yellow like Dunlop factory riders.5/13/2012 4:59:03 AM by Joe G
I'm running gold bars, sprockets, and o-ring chain. I painted the swing-arm base clear silver with OEM decals. Installed new grips, levers, perches, OEM copy seat cover, OEM tool bag, LED mini blinkers, rear brake light, front and custom rear pegs. I'm doing black lower legs with new boots in black. I'm rebuilding the front-end, bushings, and rear suspension is perfect. All new brakes in rear, front is perfect. Restoring every inch stock re: motor, trans, exhaust, painting and powder-coating everything. Making custom numbers.5/13/2012 5:10:27 AM by Joe G
I'm going to have an OEM- tricked in the same shape as yours. It will be a motocrosser that's also street legal and can carry a light chick to wheelie through the gears with in the street. I mentioned custom made numbers on new yellow plates and a decal to protect my black boots and lower legs. I bought James Stewart's 2011 dotcom helmet that is red, white, blue and yellow with a red liner, Spy white goggles with mirror lens, Fox gear, and Alpinestars TK 7. I have 2 sets of good gear for my crazy passenger, new lid and mirror goggs.5/13/2012 5:18:45 AM by Joe G
Your XR is the nicest I have seen. I may be getting a low mile original '73 or '74 Honda CT70 Trail bike too that I found in a garage covered in dust with 2 flat tires. |
