Description: Ran our worn-out, eBay-purchased, oil-burning, 1st-gear-missing, '82 Honda XR500R stock engine and carb at the BUB Speedtrials with only a straight pipe, hand-fabbed frame, creative gearing and a homemade fairing for modifications. It clocked 102.084 mph. I think there was more in it but the engine gave up the ghost on my last and best run. Any engine sponsors will be gratefully accepted!

4/4/2010 1:50:05 AM by Brian - Sorry for the slow answer. We just welded some ear flaps on a standard metal fender and some hose clamp mounts to secure it to the fork.
